𝗪𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝗱 𝗶𝘁 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲!

Last November, I hosted the first The Green Room (TGR) in-person meetup for those brave enough to come out in the most epic rainstorm of the year. The goal of The Green Room has always been to make the fundraising process a little friendlier for founders and investors alike, and this was our first chance to connect in the real world. It was a special night for me to see so many people who joined me early on this project, and I’m committed to doing more regular meetups through 2025.

If you’re not familiar with TGR (pitchtgr dot com), it’s an initiative I started over a year ago to help make the fundraising process a little friendlier for founders going through it. While TGR originally focused just on health tech, it’s gotten such great traction and incredible feedback from both founders and panelists that we've doubled down and expanded to other topics including fintech, industrial tech, commerce tech, etc. 𝗜𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿, 𝘄𝗲’𝘃𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝗱 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝟯𝟱𝟬 𝗳𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗹𝘆... 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝟮𝟱 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀! And we've featured some incredible panelists from funds like Bessemer Venture Partners, Bain Capital Ventures, General Catalyst, Notable Capital, Headline, NEA, Salesforce Ventures, and so many others.

Having founders in the TGR community in a room together with my network of VC panelists who regularly donate their time, expertise and enthusiasm to help these founders prepare for what’s ahead was a dream come true. What started as a small side-project has become a network of people I’m honored to be associated with. During the night, I overheard multiple founders and VCs making plans to connect in the coming weeks for one thing or another, and that, for me, was all I was hoping for from our first TGR live event.
